The 2023 Mickey Marcus Memorial

We are pleased to announce our 57th annual Mickey Marcus Memorial Service at the Jewish Chapel on the grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point. The service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, starting at 11:00am; CH (MAJ) David Frommer and guest rabbis officiating. A coffee hour will precede the service. The Jewish Chapel address is 750 Merritt Road, West Point, NY, 10996.

12:15…USMA Military Cemetery. Honoring Col. David “Mickey” Marcus among the 41 North American MACHAL volunteers who fell in Israel’s War of Independence (1948-49)

This year we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the State of Israel. We will remember COL/Aluf David “Mickey” Marcus (USMA ’24) on his 75th yahrzeit.
